How to identify your Ring and Pinion

As always your one stop truck stop has ring and pinions in stock. Make sure to check our inventory on our store.
- On your ring gear between the bolt holes there are stamped numbers. Please record this information.

1a. Here is an alternative view for the location of these stamped numbers.
2. As you examine the pinion, look for stamped numbers on the end where the nut gets installed. One of the numbers as shown in the photo indicates the tooth count. Please record this information, we will need to know this number for the proper ratio.

2b. Here is an alternate view of the stamped numbers on the end of the pinion.
3. In addition, some units place their specification numbers on the edge of the ring gear. If this information is visible, please record this information.
